My band have been booked to play at a wedding in a venue that has live acts regularly (GREAT!). The only problem is they have asked for our public liabilities insurance details.

We have a dilema! We have gigged for 2 years under the impression that it is the job of the venue to have public liabilies insurance.

Does anyone know if this is the case?? If we need pli where can we get it cheap??

I am in the UK (not sure if this is a US forum).

Oh yeah! have a look at our web site www.thehigh5.co.uk (http://www.thehigh5.co.uk)

Here, it's the venue owner and/or event sponsoer responsible for liability insurance.

the only thing that you should have to be insured on is not having to deal with that bullshit.
