Hi All,
Thanks for reading. I've recently purchased Logic Studio and since this is my first Logic purchase (PT most of my life) I could use some tips. I might have crammed my brain with a little too much info and not enough messing around with the application (youtube / sflogicninja videos ...amazing http://youtube.com/results?search_query=sflogicninja&search_type=
Anyway, For some reason I seem to get stuck on deciding the best way to approach creating drum tracks for any particular session. I think I'm ok with the Ultrabeat (awesome plug in) , but when creating patterns and writing drum parts using the ESX, I get a little confused. The approach that that my brain tells me is to simply create a seperate track for each drum sound and build the kit from there...seems so tedieous though. Is there a quicker way/method to approach putting together some decent and musical drum tracks so I can get to the other instruments. I guess I like to start with the drums first so it's kind of slowing down my music making (I end up spending all of my time on the drum track and then time for sleep :) Loops are great, bt I'd like to creat goos drum tracks on the fly. Thanks so muc for hangin in there with me on this long post.
Best,
Burgla
