My XBox died

Original XBox ftl.

When I press the Power button, it lights up and I hear the PSU fan whirring. HOWEVER, nothing else happens. About 1 out of every 10 attempts, the XBox will boot up.

I can't even eject the game disc. Is it dead?

im sure its repairable, but is it worth the 80 bucks to fix it? just get a 360.
