Seems to me they should be one & the same. Certainly that would generate more traffic for these listings, increasing the likelyhood of sale, no?

No. It would just junk up the regular forum with a bunch of spam. If somebody is looking to buy something, they can look in one area...instead of scrolling through page after page of mixed posts.

I think you misunderstand me. There is another HC drum classified section here: http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=85 (http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=85) . Now HC has two drum classified boards, one in the HC Gear classifieds, and this one here. I suspect that many persons browsing the other drum classified board don't know of this one's existence.
I do like having this one here, but it seems it should be a mirror of the other as opposed to it's own entity.
Thoughts?

I don't think drummers would see it as often. I'm sure I'm not the only guy who has the drum forum (only) bookmarked because I don't want to have to wade through all of the other gear!

No you're not the only one Hope Drums, I do to. It's just more convenient for those of us who don't feel like scrolling back and forth. Plus, all I gotta do is just keep an eye on this spam forum to see whats new, instead of clicking back to the Gear Thread. I'm a drummer. I tend to be lazy once in awhile 'cause I'm continually knocking the crap out of objects and a guy needs a break once in a while.

I think my point is still being missed.
Could / should this drum gear board just be a mirror of the other drum gear board?
It would still appear right here, but be one & the same with the one that's lumped in with the rest of the classifieds...
