I am looking for a Tascam TSR 8 (decently priced) for parts or could use a GOOD WORKING TSR 8 or a good working 16 channel Tascam or even another good working 8 channel Tascam.
The unit I have is showing in meter strength, during recording, excellent input signal but on playback very little, if any meter signal strength (or sound). I am not, at this time, using a mixer. I am going thru my TEAC 2340 for control of input volume to the TSR 8. I feel there may be a problem with the head unit. Hopefully someone can enlighten me if they feel there is another problem.. I am getting a TEAC Model 5A mixer soon, thru e-bay. Maybe this is the answer. I am usually pretty adept with electronic equipment, I am at a loss right now tho'.
