Swag used to be better. This year all I got was a bunch of T shirts and they're all black. Oh, and a really nice bag from Lynx. But I have too many of those. In the good ol' days, you could get decent headphones if you went to the right parties.

This year I won the third door prize at the Community 40th anniversary party. The first two prizes were speakers. Mine was "The Best of Pennsylvania" - an assortment of junk food products: Two different Tastykakes, nuts, toffee popcorn, a handful of Peanut Chews (the size you get in the candy jars at NAMM show booths) and a chocolate Liberty Bell. If you value your teeth, don't come to my house for Halloween this year.

I got the same! I gave my wife the Lynx bag for her laptop. Cadeson drums gave me a black shirt out of the blue, but someone at Shure put up a sign "FREE TEE SHIRTS". The woman at the Shure booth was getting frustrated and angry because so many were coming for shirts , without even stopping to look at microphones! I told them "At least I have Shure microphones on my drums."
