I was witness to the best Yngwie slight ever... This was (I think) in 1998 or so when NAMM was at the LA Convention center because Anaheim was closed for renovations. I was at the Rainbow in Hollywood with friends unwinding after a long day at NAMM. In comes Yngwie with John Norum (Europe) and some other guys. They sit down at the booth right next to us.

His majesty (Yngwie) was a bit drunk and acting like his usual aloof 'tool' self. Over about an hour's time each one of us introduced oursleves and chatted with John Norum, basically ignoring Yngwie because:
a) he's a tool
b) he is acting very unapproachable
c) he's a tool

Norum was very friendly, and Yngwie looked like his head was ready to explode as everyone was giving John attention, but he got none. After a while the look on his face reminded me of a high school senior who's prom date stood her up...

It was great!!!
