Hello everyone!!!
Here is your personal invitation!!!
Moestock II - 2003 - Longmont, Colorado, USA
Click Here For Details And A Ton Of Audio And Video From Moestock I (http://moestock.com/)
I'm not 100% finished with this site. I will be adding more information about the events to take place at Moestock II in the near future.
This is gonna be BIG!!! I can't wait to meet you all. It will certainly be an event to remember. Moestock was one of the coolest times I can remember. I've got lots of plans, and much of the planning and organizing is finished already. Check back at the site for further information.
I'm thinking this will be a long lived tradition. I hope we will do it once a year till we all take the dirt nap. :D Hat's off to Moe for being the originator, and therefore I say we continue the tradition in his name. It's just gotta be like that. :D
Don't Miss It!!! (http://moestock.com/)
BTW- If you don't come, we will hunt you down for an early dirt nap. http://www.cyberjammin.com/phpnuke/html/images/forum/icons/twak.gif
So, let your intentions be known. If you're coming to Moestock II, post it here. I need to get an idea of how many people will be here in order to make preperations and hopefully a cut rate at the hotel. :D

Thanks!!!
Later,
Brett

Hey Brett.
I'm planning on coming, and probably will bring the little lady along. She's been to Colorado before, and can't wait to see it again. My father-in-law is having the beach house rebuilt next summer, so the typical week at the Jersey shore will not be happening. that leaves me a whole week for Colorado.....how many guest rooms you say you have? ;)

Speaking of that. I just couldn't live with myself if we didn't make Smokey's Cable Dance (http://moestock.com/phpnuke/html/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&lid=30&ttitle=Cable_Dancin_-_By_Smokey) a permanent part of this thread. http://www.cyberjammin.com/phpnuke/html/images/forum/icons/smokin.gif

Do I wanna go, YES!!! Am I going? I still don't know but I'm gonna do my best. Odds are against my having another business trip that will exactly match the Moestock dates but I might as well pay for the trip myself this time :D
Of course there will be no storms that will make me miss a single day ... I still wish I had got on time and be on this year's Moestock Day 1 :(

I will not come unless my conditions are met:
1)I require a huge bowl of exactly 437 brown m+m's available to me at all times.
2)As my hands are super sensitive to stress, I will require a personal assistant to carry my gear at all times.
3)I will require a beautiful buxom 21 year old woman to pleasure me at all times.
If these demands are met....
.....then ill probably be there. Im planning on looking for a p/t job to afford my obvious guitar gear addiction, and to pay for the flight. :D Money is my only concern, and I should be able to rectify it in the next few months. :)

Funky, you know I will be there. :D Hopefully by then we will have decided whether minor thirds in the "head" of our blues jam work better than major 3rds. LOL!!!!
ASIDE: Ya know, even if only a quarter of the people who say they plan to attend (you know, the ones who didn't think Moe could pull it off last time but now wish they hadn't been such skeptics and had come because we had so much damn fun -- THOSE guys!!) show up, this is gonna be a VERY different event than Moestock I. Not saying this is a bad thing, but if you get 40 guitar players in Funkytown, it will be a lot different than a dozen guys in Acton...

I wouldn't make it plural, Steve. I suggest just bringing one guitar, there will be a lot of other guitars being passed around. When we flew to Moestock 2, Casper & I both got our guitars inside the plane. If you have one of those flatter wood cases it will fit in overhead, a plastic shell SKB style case will not fit and will go with the regular luggage. Mine rode in luggage on the return trip(smaller plane) and I did noticed my case was a little misfigured, probably got dropped on end, but the guitar was fine. A hammer & 30 seconds later the case was back like new. ;)

I'm gonna do some begging from the local music stores. I'm sure I'll be able to come up with plenty of gear to play through. I'd say bring your guitar if you want, and be rested up cause you won't sleep much during Moestock. Too much adrenaline and you don't want to miss anything. This year was almost surreal. I can't explain it, but it's an experience you'll never forget. :D
Once things are more nailed down, I'll post the list of gear that I'll have for us to jam through. That way people can decide if that will work for them or if they wish to bring their own stuff. I understand the importance of wanting your own amp and guitar. I brought my guitar, but flying to Canada made it impossible to take an amp. Babybatter's Mesa is sweet though. :D
Anyone who wishes to ship their gear or guitar ahead of time is welcome, they will be unopened in the box waiting for you barring damage to a box or something.
See you in nine months!!! :D

I'm 6'7". I used to be about 240, but I lost a whole lot of wieght in a couple months, though, so now I'm only 212.
Bring it on, buddy. I'll use my abnormal flexibility to freak people out. Wait, that's not goofy. It's usually just weird.:D

Absolutely!!! Everyone is welcome. You won't believe how fun it is.
I've played well over 500 live gigs and I still have to say that Moestock 2002 was one of my all time favorite jam sessions. Simply unforgetable!!! :D
