Just one? I know I should say Taxi Driver or Raging Bull, but his version of Cape Fear really got to me GOOD.
And Goodfellas was sort of OK. :)

I have the special edition of Goodfellas, with commentary from the real Henry Hill, and I believe the FBI agent who prosicuted him, Martin Scorsese, Nichalos Pileggi (writer of the book Wiseguy which the movie was based upon), and numerous cast and crew. Really awesome, especially if you love the organized crime genre. Most of Goodfellas is a true story, and it's all at least very close. If you like to read, get Nick Pileggi's book, it's great :thu:

Have you seen Casino? It's long, but a great movie. One of his movies no one ever seems to talk about...

I love the scope and atmosphere of his movies but I find some of them to be a bit lacking in the story department. I liked Taxi Driver and The Departed.

Casino is probably my favorite. :thu:
I love that tracking shot early in the movie that shoes how the casino works and the money is skimmed .

yeah I'll have to agree Taxi Driver, Cape Fear, and Goodfellas are my favoritesl. Although I have yet to see the Departed. The King of Comedy was pretty good as well.
