Its for a little stereo sony tuner I bought .

I want not a lot of bass and for them to be clear at a low volume and not to carry very far at all. Its for using as a monitor system for recording in a trailer park ,with old bitchy people .This is not joke.

Hey, sorry that you didn't get a response in time. This new Forum doesn't get much traffic yet. I probably stop by less than once a month.

I don't do home recording, so I have no experienced opinion to offer. I just didn't want ya to feel slighted because an answer didn't pop up in a day. Maybe in time the traffic here will increase, more people will read your post and you can get responses faster.

Good luck to ya on the bitchy neighbors. I hope you came up with some good usable nearfield monitors at a great price.

yo!

I got some Boston 57s and I am happy as can be with them. I got lucky. They could have been crap for all I knew cause when I heard em in the store it was with different amp acoustics . But no I am pleased.I am using them for computer moniters and h.r.
