Of those I've seen, I gotta go with:
1. Knocked Up - Absolutely hilarious and touching
2. Grindhouse, Death Proof - Wow. Scary, funny, corny, thrilling.
3. Zodiac - surprisingly good
4. American Gangster - Flawed, but you gotta love Denzel
5. Simpson's Movie - Not any greater than the TV show, but not any worse, either
Not a great year for film, IMHO

I was actually very disappointed with Hot Fuzz, thought is could have been a lot better, butI had high expectations from Shawn of the Dead.

I liked Shaun of the dead more, but the actual camera work was a little better in Hot Fuzz. Super Bad is one of the better comedies I've seen of recent. Man I need to watch some more movies, to busy playing music and working.

Saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on DVD the other night. still sucked as bad as the original movie. The movies don't do those stories justice...

terrible list IMO. i thought knocked up was extreamly not funny. i laughed once durning the whole movie.Gindhouse was a disapointment, i had high expectations for that movie too. I havnt seen american gangster but i hate Denzel as an actor so thats probley why. Also i dont like that they are marketing it as a true story but the only thing thats right about the movie is the guys name.
2008 just started but i liked cloverfield. I am looking forward to star trek and Indian jones. Dark night should be great. 21 looks promising. Also there is another movie, I forget what its called, its about some people who kidnap a secret agents daughter...anywas 2008 looks like a good movie year compaired to 2007.
No one's mentioned I'm Not There. I was blown away for weeks... it really revolutionized my whole idea of film.
