yamaha qy-10 ,outstandingly well thought out 1 to 8 measure patterns.About 80 patterns and abot 60 are good. It sounds like paper though. Its an antique sequencer from 1992 or so.It has the best patterns of them all for jazz funk and bluegrass. too bad the sounds are bad.
cheap $99 dollar zoom-The drum sounds are very good,vibrant and deep. patterns are geared to hard rock. Some of the funk and blues and normal rock ones are ok but ALL are just 1 or 2 measure patterns!
Boss drum machine in a 8 track. I have never heard more idiotic patterns . Some are so redundant I swear they put them in there as a joke. Sounds like it was done by children. The hard rock ones are ok.The sound is fair.
Drum machine in Yamaha keyboard-again great patterns. The yamaha people dont give their kids jobs doing them.Many,VERY varied and all are useable, drum sounds are pretty good.

If the zoom people would hire the folks who work for Yamaha doing the patterns ,theyd kill.
