Any Photo buffs hear? I just love my Canon S2 and am thinking of upgrading..any Ideas?:thu:

www.steves-digicams.com is a great source for information on cameras. They have a forum that's very helpful, and Steve takes photos of a LOT of the same stuff when he reviews a camera, so that you can compare cameras taking photos of the same thing, it gives you a better idea of what to expect.

I have a Fuji S5000 that's been a great little camera. Is the S2 the model that has the long (10X) zoom on it? If it is, that's a nice camera, too, I looked at that one too. The technology has changed a lot and prices have dropped a LOT, too, in the last couple of years.

Its got a 12x Optical Zoom and it will take alot of different lenses and Filters with a tube adapter,,Very Cool..also Records Audio in stereo and does Great Movies for not being a true Video Cam..http://www.steves-digicams.com/ is a Great place..Wish I could Try all the cameras he gets to try out!

Panasonic Lumix's are really good. You can get a 18x optical, 4x digital zoom, and I think 8 (maybe 10) MP Lumix on Circuit City for under 400$. But maybe that wouldn't be an upgrade from yours.

Yes Newegg has had them at under 300,attractive at that price...
