I would like to see a remake, I think it could have been executed with more mood and polish given the cool subject material and story - it becomes too formulaic as it progresses, more gore and effects than mood/suspense - speaking of effects, the cgi looks pretty dated, so an update would be great - the 'device' in that main room was pretty cool though, bring that back!

one part I liked a lot was when the doctor crawls along the cramped access tunnel which is made of green, lighted pcb boards and such - at some point he gets a good scare when the lights start to shut down in sequence - I thought that scene was pretty cool and I didn't expect it, reminded me of that tunnel/attack sequence in the old 'unreal' game

Very, very creepy movie, probably one of my fav horror flicks. I agree it falls apart towards the end, but it's terrifying all of the way through. Trying to imagine what the original crew went through when the crossed over to Hell was more than my young mind could handle.
