I enjoyed it, but I don't think I can defend it at all.
I liked how the acting was really unnatural and seemed dated. It was like they made a really crappy parody of a beatle movie on a huge budget.
At least I can say I've never seen anything like it.

I ***LOVED*** it. I'm gonna watch it again when it comes out on DVD.
In musicals the story is always kind of lame, and the acting is basically just hanging around until your next chance to sing.
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC, and the music ROCKED!!!!!
