It sounds like another effort at deifying a guy who had a nice little run 40 years ago, and then ran out of gas.
I tire easily of iconization.:bor:

Bob Dylan's reaction to the film ... "I smul dawwun funna beesch. Canna do wadda zezeh mearl. Frud ..."

I tire easily of your taste in music and especially of people who like to slay sacred cows. :bor:
I saw the movie and it has been playing in my head for a few weeks now. It's probably the most insidiously great flick I've seen in a decade. Makes biopics like Ray and The Aviator look like the ridiculous, shallow endeavors they really are -- Cliffs Notes for people who are too lazy to read books.
I'm Not There is something else entirely. It's unlike any film I've ever seen. More like a cubist painting than a biography. The performances, the cinematography, and the conception of the movie are all in the stratosphere. If you are at all moved by abstraction as a way to convey ideas bigger than words can say, go see this unique movie. There are two are three performances in there that will move you at the very least.

Criticizing a movie you haven't seen is a real "tell" (as they say in Vegas). Pissing on artistic giants like Bob Dylan is also a tell.
