They showed that last week on RTE. A cracker of a movie - great dialogue, hilarious Noo Yoik accents and the great Walter Mathau. They don't make them like that any more.

Oh, man...you just hit on one of my all-time favorite movies. A 'closet classic', to be sure.

I lived in NYC at about the same time as this film was made and every time I see it, it brings me right back to that gritty subway, the dirty stations, the steam, the ads on the walls, the cars, the attitude...

They don't come much better than this. As good if not better than French Connection and The 7-Ups.

They're remaking it with John Travolta and Denzel Washington. Will be released in 2009. Weird, huh?

yeah, why leave it alone? Let's get Matthew Broderick in there somewhere...

I can't stand it. Please shoot me now.

Watched this movie on cable a few days ago and what a great movie. Hadn't seen it in at least 25 or more years and had forgotten how good it is.

AAAaaaaaaAAaaargghhh!!!! WHy does Hollywood keep screwing with the good stuff? Because they can't come up with an original Idea?!?... Sheesh!

No offense John Travolta... because I know your son just died... BUT YOU"RE A LOUSY ACTOR! Your only redeeming quality is that your wife is still hot! (View from the Top... mmm, mmm, Good!)

First Deathrace 2000, and now ThIs?!? What's next to remake, Mad Max... the Musical starring David Archuleta?!? (Hey, that's not a bad idea... gimme a million dollars Disney.)
