VW bugs are cute.
"Cute" is not a word that really fits with "robots destroying each other".
And Michael Bay doesn't do "cute". He blows shit up. It's what he's good at.

I tried to sit through that movie. The child in me screamed, remember sitting in front of the tv before school in the 80's? The adult in me said, Michael Bay can't direct for shit. I stopped watching about 15 minutes into the movie. The girl was cute though.

That movie made no sense from beginning to end. But it did have a few neat moments that brought out the kid in me. The acting was horrible. Almost as bad as those Spider-Man movies.

I have to say I enjoyed it for the most part. Kinda cheesy, but cmon, it was a kids show to start with, and they really didn't stray that far from it.
They could have spent a more time with the Decepticons interacting with each other. I didn't get a very good sense of who they were as the villians, personality wise at all.

He can be any car they want , might as well make them look good right ? To me it didn't have any effect on the movie.

I heard coz BB doesn't talk in the movie, Bay didn't want people to think BB was like Herbie.
