In terms of 'Theme' music and having noteriety in being asked to perform the title track? :confused:None I can think of...while I'm at it favorite score from a bond film for me was "On Her Majesties Secret Service"

...although that was the 'worst Bond' (George Lazenby)...the novel and the movie were good!

My favorite Bond theme is "From Russia with love". I sometimes catch myself whistle it.

My favorite Bond was Sean Connery but I did like Pierce Brosnan too. Roger Moore just didn't have the debonair way of Sean. Timothy Dalton was a good fill-in...I like Daniel Craig in Casino Royale:thu:
Diamonds are Forever is my favorite original Bond and Die Another Day for the new Bonds.

Agreed. Best Bond since Connery.
And I really like the new direction of the films ... if anything needed a good reboot, it was 007.
I mean, you know you're a cliche when a two-trick pony like Mike Myers can milk it for three damn movies.
By Die Another Day, I had given up on Bond. What was that one that cast Denise Richards as a n-nukular sciencetist ... person? Bloody awful.

I can't think of any other franchise that has lasted as long...well maybe Sherlock Holmes, but that's a different kind of thing.
Daniel Craig seems to capture the character in the original Ian Fleming books...I get the feeling the producers may have actually READ a James Bond book before casting Craig. And those first ten minutes in Casino Royale with the "running man" scenes...I was surprised to hear that a lot of that was real, not green screen.

Yes it does seem as though they are getting back to what the James Bond character is supposed to be:thu: Daniel did a great job:D.

Timothy Dalton was a much darker James Bond, more like the character in the books. I thought he did fine but From Russia With Love was probably the best movie.
Not connected to this, I used to live downstairs from a woman who looked exactly like Rosa Kleb.
