Get it quick before I receive a "Copyright violation" letter from a Harmony Central lawyer and have to change a photo.

Hey, thanks for a nice roundup. However, I'll go with your first assessment, this NAMM was pretty much :bor:. The most cool thing for me was definitely the Space Echo box, but other than that and some mics I'll probably never afford it doesn't look like there was much of interest, and, as you point out, a lot of WTF? And, unless your a guitar tech on a major tour, that screwdriver tuner thing is way overkill and looks ungainly as hell. The DAW pedal board, again, good idea, way overkill. And while that orchestral engine is pretty impressive, it's not like we're hurting for high-quality orchestral sets.
Wonder why all the companies I actually care about choose to sit this one out.

According to one of the reps from a major distributor who calls on my shop, a LOT of companies sat this year out hoping to convince NAMM to move it back to Nashville for lack of participation in Austin. From the rumormill I've heard, it sounds like it may have worked, too, which in my opinion, is a good thing.

Would you settle for a "Thanks, Mike!" letter from me instead?
No problem with using the photo, given that you do attribution :) Besides, it's the least you deserve for all the good posts you've put in here over the years.

No problem with using the photo, given that you do attributionThanks. I figured that if I were to ask officially, I'd have to go higher than you and it would take weeks to get permission (or not).

They would just have bounced you back to me anyway! But it sure is refreshing to see someone who actually cares about intellectual property rights.
