Hey, just wondering if anyone has attempted to sell a song to a company. I was thinking of selling some tunes because the band thing isn't working out that much. I have a gigantic black cloud over it. But I wasn't sure how tangible it is for an unknown like me to be able to do it. Anyone ever tried this, or is it just a bullshit process. I do have one song that has been professionally done. I would like to do a second when I have the money saved.

not quite sure what you're trying to do here... why are you trying to sell a song to a company and why would a company want your song? what are they going to do with it?

If it's commercially viable, and fairly modern pop, R&B or country, a publisher may be interested in buying it outright or shopping it for you. If it's not one of those things, you're probably SOL.
