I post stuff from Troy Stetina's Speed Mechanics.
I don't mean verbatim or note for note, but since this book is really damn good, it'd be a shame if I couldn't at least take the ideas from it and use them to post lessons here.
Stratcat, funky, Silver? How do the rules work in regard to these sorts of issues?
Thanks,
Steve.

Put it up. Don't worry about it. If they have a problem they will take it down.

you know the copyright deal man, we need to respect that. If he has something on a web site that you'd want to share that's cool. But we really need to respect the copyrights, if possible. That may cause us problems in this forum particularly.

I need to get my hands on this book at some point, I think. Everyone raves about it.

It's kinda a double edged sword. If you post a page or 2, some people will like it and buy the book, helping the writer. Others will read only the pages you post and NOT buy the book because they have what they want.
I'd skip it. Copyrite laws say it's not legal but it's really up to the publisher or writer to decide if they want to pursue it. Most likely you'll just piss people off.

Well this discussion if nothing else caused me to just order the book and CD. I'm not much into metal, but it can't hurt.
I really do like books with CD, so you can hear things.
Any other highly recommend books with CDs? I may make another topic with that question as well.
That's actually my next book purchase.

Well, for anyone who's curious about the book, and serious on following the recommendation, our wonderful friends over at Amazon have provided a couple of sample pages that will serve only to wet our insatiable appetites:
