Sweet. Many thanks. :D
Couple of things I noticed of little consequence:
1. Why only 4-octaves for the new Nord?
2. The Stromberg is still just a "light-box" mockup. Hope some real stuff is shown on that one at some point.

Well - they're not my pics. But I'd like to go there sometime.
The Nord Leads have always been 4 octaves. This board is just an updated 2X. I thought it would have a little more advanced FM, but from looking at the pics, I only see 2 oscillators. Maybe they work around it somehow. It looks like the typical VA type FM tho.
Stromberg's got a ways to go for sure.
Not too much low-end stuff. Must be lots of high rollers out there.
Has anyone heard of that Tiefenrausch analog unit?
And what's that big mixer/recorder looking thing?

I'm curious to hear how oscs 1 & 2 can interact with the wavetables & FM.
HEADPHONES, SNOOKUMS.

The Nord Leads have always been 4 octaves.
I know. I just figured if this is going to be their new flagship performance synth they'd go the path of the G2X with 61-keys.
And what's that big mixer/recorder looking thing?
It looks like the Tascam DM-3200 digital mixer to me, but I can't be sure.

Odd 'cause it's been around for more than a year.

That is truly gorgeous kit. Wish it were twice as wide.

Maybe they've got a bunch of baords hooked into it.

Pighood: There's the DM-4800…

It looks better proportioned, although the MB is too narrow.
Mildbill: That may be a possibility.

I want that.
What do I want?

It's a 48-channel digital mixer for less than $5 kilobucks. Do you want that, maybe?

Does anyone know when the new Nord is coming out? And how much it might cost? I loved the sound of the 2x, and I might be tempted to pick one of these up.

Clavia might say "when it's done," but are claiming this summer (right?). I understand it's still in development, though.
