I'm very excited about the Axon Ax 50 and have already posted concerning this new product. I'm concerned about some discrepancies in the press releases I've read. Check out this one: http://www.majormusic.com.au/press/February_8_terratec_axon_ax50_usb.html which states the pricing info for AX 50 as:
"The AXON AX-50 USB is expected to be available in March 2007, with an expected RRP of $899.00 AUD inc GST"

This seems like a legitimate press release coming out of the NAMM show, but then if you head over to terratec's official site: http://audioen.terratec.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=103 the companies news feature on AX 50 states:
"Priced at 549.00 USD (MSRP) TerraTec Producerīs AXON AX 50 USB will be available right after NAMM Show 2007."

So where did the $350 difference come from? At least major music was more on the money with the release date, seeing as it's almost April and I don't consider 2-3 months a time to be characterized as "right after" any thing. Anyway, can some one sort this out, or do we just have to wait?

You're comparing AUD vs. USD, that's why you perceive a difference.
