Aloha mixing gurus! I have a question for u: I'm looking a good effect for my vocals. I have a soft slightly thin voice and I scream (for alternative music) What effect & eq would u recommend? I have used Stereo Cakewalk built in effects such as EQ, Chorus, Flanger, Delay, Reveb. I use CSF EQ, and use the default vocal booster.. is there any ways to improve vocal EQ.

Your suggestion in this matter is highly appreciated from the bottom of my heart!!!

EQ and compression should help you to get a thicker sound out of your vocal tracks. Also, a high frequency exciter or even a tube overdrive plugin can sometimes help add life to a vocal recording. What kind of microphone are you using? Recording with a large diaphram condenser microphone would definitely give you a fuller sound from the start than using a dynamic microphone.

Hope this helps!
Kevin
