Hi guys, I'm a regular in the AMP and LIVE SOUND forums, but I'm still learning my way around computers. I'm not a beginner, but certainly not an expert either. This is my question: When I do recording on my computer, I can not here the sound/track (through the monitors or cans) of the particular instrument that I am recording at the time, but I can hear everything else. Its not a big deal except when doing bass and vocal tracks. I have this problem using ACID,Cool Edit Pro, and N-tracks, so its not the programs. I have a Sound Blaster Live card with the Live Drive I....which has always been a pain in the ass, but I don't wanna get another soundcard till I can afford a good one. I usually use the Mic 2 or digital input, so its not one particular input. The problem is probably a soundblaster thing. Any ideas?
