Hey everyone. I'm new at a lot of midi stuff, but not new to the music world http://acapella.harmony-central.com/smile.gif I have Cakewalk Pro Audio 9, and I'm wanting to essentially burn my .WRK/.MID files to CD. How do you do this? Do you need another program to convert these files over to a .WAV file??? Thanks in advance!

Use the mixdown option to export your files to WAV. I think its under tools>mixdown or something similar.

Thanks, I'll try that....If not I was going to do it the "easy" way....running my left and right analog out of my keyboard to my brother's computer sound card through SoundForge...

Fossil,
It won't let me highlight the mix-down feature when a midi track is highlighted. I believe it will only let you mixdown audio-only tracks. I can record from a second track that's changed to audio, but the sound is all scratchy....what's up with that? I have an creative AWE32 sound card. Should I upgrade my card to get good results?
Thanks

Did you check your volume levels on your recording mixer in windows?
Do you have problems playing muiltiple tracks of audio as well? If so, your sysem and/or soundcard may not be up to the task (not powerfull enough).
