I have my own web site and I have e-mail at my web domain. I am using ms outlook 2000 as my pop program. I wanted to know how I can sync outlook to my email. I.E. when I delte something on outlook, it deletes it on the mail server, when I move mail to a folder, it moves it to a folder in the mail server, ect.
Thanx

Hmmmm. Not really sure what you are asking for but have you tried (in IE) Tools>Internet OPtions>Programs>Email> and choosing Outlook as default?

synchronizes means whatever I do one one thing, the same thing will be done on the other. So, for example, if I delete mail that I recieve in outlook, it will also delete it in the mail server. If I move an email to a folder called "friends," then it will also move that email to a folder called "friends" in the email server. How would I accomplish this with outlook? Because right now, everything stays in my inbox on my mail server, even when I delete items in outlook. I hope this clears up what I am asking.
Thanx

What you're talking about is an IMAP connection to your POP server.
1st, your ISP needs to support IMAP
2nd, you need an IMAP capable client, such as Outlook Express, Eudora or Netscape.
3rd Full Blown Outlook can't do IMAP :-|
Hope it helps

Under Outlook... Go to Tools> Accounts> (select your account)> Properties> Advanced (Tab)> UNSELECT "Leave a copy of messages on server." This should fix your problem

Will it? Because I want a copy left on the server IF I DO NOT delete it on outlook. But I want it deleted if I delete it on outlook.
I also want it moved to a folder on the server, if I move it to a folder in outlook.
This way, when I am not at home, I can still check my email.
