What does Cubase have that Cubasis doesn't?
Is it something to do with being able to use VST plugins?

Best way to get a feel for functionality gaps is to look on the mfrs web site and check out product specifications.....it's better than getting a whole bunch of opinions. If you want opinions then you may want to research then ask specifics. I'm a Logic Audio bigot so I would say go with LAP for a smoother ride and more intuitive experience.
