Midi interface w/logic & 1224?

I have decided to get Logic plat. and a MOTU 1224. Anyone else out there using this config on a Mac? Please share your experiences...I'm on a beige G3 for now.
What midi interface should I use - an emagic AMT-8 or one of the MOTU's?

AMT8 or Unitor8 'cause they use amt code(active midi transmiting) which you
can use only with logic.For more information about AMT code take a look at
