HELP Live Midi Software Sampler

Does anyone know of any software to which i can use a midi controller via usb to where i can assign samples to individual keys and fire them off in a live situation. I have a powerbook and logic and i'm getting the new midiman oxygen 8 midi keyboard. I just need to know what else i need.

I would try the EXS24 sampler made for Logic by Emagic. It has been rated very highly as a soft sampler that plugs into logic and could easily handle playing back external keyboard mapped samples.
