I have a B&W G3/300 and want to add a second monitor. I don't want to lose a PCI slot if I don't have to. Are there any inexpensive Dual monitor cards? If not, is there a cheap basic card........
I don't do gaming and don't need accelerated graphics..........just something to run a second monitor.

Thanks

Hrmm. I really haven't seen any Mac dual monitor cards out there except for the Nvidia card that's shipping with the new dual-800. You could just pick up one of those. http://acapella.harmony-central.com/smile.gif Matrox does make some dual-monitor cards. If you aren't doing OpenGL or anything hardware-excelerrated it might be okay. I'd check macfixit.com or xlr8yourmac.com about that one.

Otherwise, I found myself in the same spot about a year ago and bought a Rage Plus card. 8meg card, nothing too fancy. Make sure you have the drivers installed correctly (some fun moments there) and it works great. ...And I don't seem to find any at the major catalogue sites. If you really need dual-vga, it'll cost ya. Unless you really need that pci slot, I'd check ebay for an old ATI card that you know is Mac compatible. That's probably the easiest route..
