Picture this...
I know NOTHING about making music with computers
I have a new iMac 600, a Johnson J station to record guitars and bass and a SM58 mike.
I plan to start using Logic with the following stuff:

GUITAR or Mike --(jack)-- TLAudio FATMAN2 --(jack-jack)-- JStation --(optical-optical)-- Roland UA-30 --(USB)-- IMAC

What do you reckon?
Am I missing something?

Hello,

Whoa!!!! A hard journey for sure.

Well, one thing. If you'll be working with a reserved number of tracks I guess the imac can cope.I personally am picking up tonight my used G4 400Mhz. 'm getting the MOTU 828.But I'll be recording drums, guitars, basses,voices,etc...

One more thing- the SM 58 is good on vocals but bad on guitars.just a tip.get maybe a SM 57 for the guitar.
