How do I monitor surround in Logic 4.7?

yo. I'm new to Logic and surround setup, I can't get my Logic mixer to output anything but channel 1-2 (front L-R). I think I need to add master tracks in order to assign them different channels and hear what I'm missing, but I don't know how to do this.
Also any advice for working in a 5.1 setup please let me know, very new to all this.
