Hi,

I have a 1996 Breedlove SC/R for sale. I purchased the guitar from a dealer in 1998; it was NOS.

Specs:
U.S. Built
Solid Spruce Top*
Solid Rosewood Back & Sides
Mahogany Neck
Ebony Fingerboard
Rosewood Overlay on Headstock
Ebony Tuner Buttons
Rosewood Bridge
B/W/B Binding
Simple Rossette - might be Bloodwood(?)

*I know the top looks like Cedar but it really is Spruce. The dealer advertised it as a Cedar top and that's the main reason I bought it (I'm very partial to Cedar tops). I contacted Steve Henderson at Breedlove - he checked the records and replied back that it's a Spruce top and that some species of Spruce will darken like this has.

The neck is straight, the frets are still in great shape. There's the usual finger/pic markings by the soundhole - but they are very light. Also, there are several of what's called presure dings on the bottom near the strap button. (I knew about these when I bought the guitar). Steve at Breedlove said that these occur when a guitar is banged against something but not hard enough to cause an indentation. Rather what happens is that the finish seperates from the wood but does not crack or come off. They have a somewhat "milky" look to them.

Sorry about the current picture. I have to locate the better ones I have and get those uploaded.

I used this guitar in recording my CD. You can hear how it sounds (http://www.michaelmucklow.com/mp3s/myWimpy.html) on tracks 1,2,5,6,7 and 11.

It comes with the OHSC which has some "road-wear" to it, but of course it still does its job.

Asking price: $1500.00 (shipping and insurance included)

Surprisingly...no. Still have it. Here's where you can view the other pictures of the guitar: http://www.michaelmucklow.com/breedlove/pix.html, the last pic shows the pressure dings that are mentioned in the original post.

Thank you for inquiring.

Hello, I heard the clip, great sound and playing, I have a revival OM-R. You might want to post that in the http://breedloveforum.yuku.com/directory. Best of luck
