I bought this guitar new off the hanger in the late 90s and basically used it for some recording. This is an excellent guitar in all regards. Quality, finish and tone is all top shelf!! It has never been out of the house or out of a controlled temperature and humidity environment. It is in 99% mint condition and includes a plush, heavy duty hardshell Gibson case. The only wear on the guitar at all is on the pickgard, other than that, there is not a scratch or mark on it.
The thing that impresses me is that this guitar plays almost as easy as an electric. It is really set up nice and the neck / fretboard feels great. I mainly play electrics and have a Martin that I would lose my butt on if I sold it, so the only option is to sell off the Hummingbird. One more note on the case. You could probably jump on it and not hurt the guitar .... it is very well made and very sturdy.
Since this thing has seen very little use, plays like a dream and has no fret wear, I am asking $1,650 plus shipping. :)
