Serial number 473990. All original except for a thinline pickup that was installed but taken out. This guitar has forward shifted scalloped bracing, solid mahogany back and sides, solid spruce top w/a lot of silking, dovetail neck joint, gloss finish, and a Brazilian rosewood bridge. These were original when the D-16 first came out and I believe enhance the already great sound. The saddle is a replacement bone saddle. The action is medium low and plays well up the neck. There's a fine crack on the back from the lower right bottom up the back. It's about 4" long and my luthier said it's not going anywhere. Otherwise, this guitar's in very good shape. It's been well played and enjoyed. I'll include an non original hardshell case and the disconnected thinline pickup.
