I've been recording things in Live using Reason and my Tascam US-122 (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Tascam-US122-USB-AudioMIDI-Interface?sku=240868) for some time now, it's worked great. Even though each of it's inputs can be used stereoly (sorry, strange word), I chose to make it mono, like if I was recording vocals or something. I'd send all audio in Live to the Tascam, and when I monitored (through the tascam) I could hear it in both ears.

I sold my Tascam, and upgraded to a Delta 66 (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/MAudio-Delta-66-Digital-Recording-System?sku=701345) and a mic preamp. When I set it all up in Live, everything looks like it should.

Both left and right channels go up when the mic is in use. The thing is, when I monitor it through one of the Delta 66's outputs, I can only hear it in one ear! I even recorded some stuff, and played it back through my computer's audio drivers, not the Delta 66, and it plays back in both speakers (like the levels show) not just the left.

Does anyone know what's up? It'd be nice to hear things in both ears when I'm recording!
(when I jiggle the headphone cord a bit, I can sometimes hear things in both ears, but I checked my headphones on a million other things, and both sides work fine)

EDIT: I took a screenshot, but my webserver is down right now for some reason...

What do you mean when you say you are monitoring it through one of the Delta's outputs? How..? Are you plugging your headphones in to the output directly?

Yes, I am...It's the only way I can hear anything if I run my music making programs through its ASIO drivers.
The booklet shows setting it up the outputs with a "sound system," so...
Do I have to hook it up to a tuner module or something, first?
Sorry, I'm a production noob!

Oh..

Your headphone have a TRS connector on the end for three cable cores. The output from the delta is a single signal. You should get yourself some kind of headphone amp. Even if it's a cheap hifi amp. Route the Delta in to that and then headphones in to the amp.

Ahh, yeah, I have some Sennheiser HD280's...
In the mean time I kind of solved the problem, I dug out an old tuner from the 80's, and found a cable with RCA left and right outputs on the end...hooked up an output from the delta to the back of the tuner, hooked up my headphones to the tuner. It works, but the tuner is old so it's a bit fuzzy!1
Thanks for the help! I'll pick up an amp soon, or hey, maybe even a brand new tuner so I can hook up monitors and whatnot if I wanted...

You could also buy a cheap headphone amp...
