Liquid Mix and Duende are very new, but has anyone been using the Waves APA-44?

What have your experiences been using these products? Have you been able to compensate for latency appropriately?
How about the TC Power Core?

Even if you've never used one of these units, what are your opinions about these kinds of products? These seem to make all the sense in the world to me. Your CPU can only do so much, so putting the load on these units sounds like a great idea.
Also, M-Audio just put out the Pro Fire Lightbridge http://m-audio.com/index.php?do=products.main&ID=c92a3d7039123bba1fa72b463f867e64. This would allow a DAW user to send 32 tracks in to a digital mixer like a TASCAM DM-3200, http://www.tascam.com/Products/dm3200.html
use the EQ, Compressors, FX and automation then send this submix back to a stereo aux input in the DAW via S/PDIF. The Pro Fire Lightbridge also has stereo analog outputs to monitor your DAWs stereo buss. This is pretty cool as the mixer is also a control surface. The console also has 16 mic pres which could connect to the DAW via ligtpipe too. This would allow you to setup multiple cue mixes from the board, keep any drum machines or synths plugged in etc.
Is anyone looking at solutions of this kind?
