I am considering buying an X-fi. Anyone have any experience with this card?
I have purchased a new computer and the older SB Live card's compatibility is shaky with XP at best.
The main question I have concerns the joystick port. My old SB Live has a joystick port and I use this as my midi interface. It works quite well. Will the X-fi joystick port do the same? I cannot seem to get a straight answer to this and I do not want to spend even more money buying the interface option.
If not, can anyone recommend a decent sound card that still has the joystick port on it? These seem to be quickly becoming a thing of the past.
