Hi, i have a bit of a question i was hoping one of you smart folks could help me out with.

I have cassette tapes (just radio shack cassette tapes of the normal variety, not 8 track tapes or nothin') full of just random acoustic guitar messarounds, demoing out stuff etc. and i was wondering, How would i transfer the material of the tapes onto computer say into wav/mp3/etc format?

I own a radio shack tape recorder and also a couple stereos with tape players, various output jacks etc.

I don't want to record it via mic etc.. is there any solution via cables/cords/etc etc? any help would be mucho appreciated, thanks!!!!

All I did was connect via a RCA/ 1/4 inch cable, from the deck to my interface.

You get the relive the day of wow and flutter, plus tape hiss.

I use Cakewalk Pyro Software personnally. you can connect your tape deck to your line in on your sound card and you are ready to go. It also has noise reduction and eq. You can then save and burn to CD. Works really well. Relatively cheap
