I was going 42 in a 35. I was out of state so I had to go all the way back to that state (Wyoming). It was my first time being pulled over, mother fucker gave me no sympathy whatsoever. It's like a fucking 4 laned road; I didn't even feel I was going that fast. Damn that cop; and that judge. Damn them all.

My feelings exactly.

After the window rolled down i looked up at his face and saw he was one of those long mustache'd cops...i knew right then and there that i was a dead man.

Ever seen "Super Troopers"??

Absolutely hillarious... As much as I hate the bastards, I'm on my 4th ticket now (and I'm only 23!), this movie makes all the 'shit-you-make-up-in-your-head-about-cops-just-because-you-hate-them' all that much funnier.

MEOW!!

I was pulled over last week. Goin 115 in a school zone on a test drive, coked out of my mind, stolen midget in the back, loaded squirt gun on the passenger seat. Thank god I didn't get a ticket.

98 in a 55 about 10 years ago.

Cost me over $200, I'm lucky he didn't haul my ass in.

Why is it that people can't take responsibility for their actions. You get a ticket, you and the officer both know you were going to fast, but you insist on complaining when the cops do their job or fighting the ticket. If you're going 30 over, you're going to get a fat fine. Cops are just doing thier jobs. Whether handing out traffic tickets, chasing people who have guns, or running into a burning building to save people, they're just doing their jobs. If you weren't breaking the law you wouldn't have an issue. When you speed, you're gabmling that you'll get away with it. Sometimes you do, sometimes you don't. Deal with it. But don't go off on those who risk their lives daily to protect yours.

Mine's a little different, I wasn't radared, they just guessed how fast I was going. It even says it on the ticket. I think $465 is a little high for an estimated speed. I'm willing to admit I was speeding, but I wasn't going that fast.

gcdrummer,

I'm not complaining either, I was young and dumb. I paid my fine and haven't had a ticket since...clean record for ten years! <knocking on wood>

Well, the road I got a ticket on was 5 laned. The speed limit was 35. I seriously had no idea I was going that fast. It wasn't like I was anyone's tail either, I think everyone else was going just as fast. Jerk just pulled me over so I could give money to his state. (I'm in Nebraska; ticketed in Wyoming)

if you were caught going 76 in a 45,, you shoulda had your license taken from you on the spot....

the public highways are no place for drivers who disreguard the safety of everyone else on the road because they wanna drive like an idiot....
