Actually my primary instrument is trumpet. I majored in improv. @ Berkee. I play a little guitar; that's why I'm here.
Wondered if anyone else is a horn playing jazzer.

I've played trumpet for two years in my college big band, and flugel horn starting last year for a couple songs. I've been doing it quite a lot lately, and suck far less than I used to. My improvising is still just about the worst thing ever though.

i played trombone in highschool and got a state ring for jazz band that i use for a paper weight

Tenor sax, alto sax and for all other brass/woodwind parts I use a Yamaha WX-5 windsynth.
When I got into this a few years ago I started picking up keyboard, guitar (Epiphone Dot) and most recently bass (Fender Jazz).
Now if I could just clone myself.....
