Saw that in London. Always hated the loo0k of the Red Special, hated the show too. Music was great - I'm not exactly what you'd call a fan, but there are a lot of Queen songs I love, and Freddy being such an entertainer prevented them turning out as po-faced and pretentious as they otherwise would / could have been. Show itself - vile. Better off seeing a good tribute act. I'd consider sitting through it again to see her, though..... yummy!

I should point out that the song's not intended to specifically be about them, though, but about the whole neo-hippy culture of which saddling your children with ridiculous names is but one tiny aspect.

The song was written before River's untimely death. I think it's probably time to revive it. ;)

The Michael Kelley Hourglass uses the same Gibby/Hamer doublecut body style. It's probably not a Hamer, since Hamer almost always uses a 3-pot control layout (vol/vol/tone) for that style guitar.

Nice to see Suzi Quatro in this thread..... pity she'll never actually see it.
