Haja, given that the lead singer and bassist are in other pics above p[laying the same guitars (cherry DC Schecter and a red P-bass), the answer is no.

That being said, the pic is clearly staged for it's location given the hat on the ground for tips and the lack of mics and a PA.

This is the only picture of her playing I could find. She's pretty cool. Saw an outdoor show once where she was rocking out a little too hard on a slippery stage and she face planted. But she kept playing while laying on the ground until she had her bearings back and could get back to her feet. \m/:mad:\m/

It looked pretty painful though. :(

I noticed this photo because I currently own the guitar she's playing. I bought it from Mysti's musical partner Shawn Spencer when the 2 were recording and needed funds. That's some kind of blue plastic sheeting/contact paper type stuff over a white pearl pickguard. After I got it, all that and the stickers came off and I replaced the knobs (they were the odd foam neon green ones pictured!) with proper chrome barrels and flipped the control plate back to the non-reversed position. Not quite as... colorful as it once was, but I think it works better visually for me now.

Strange. That black Tele is a Franketele, but not from a kit. I'd be surprised if anyone chose to use it, since:

It has dings and marks all over it,

The guard is crudely cut around the neck pickup, done with a knife or chisel or something,

And the neck pickup is a mini-HB, which not the way most Teles are set up.

It's crazy to me that it's still OK to some people to automatically question women's competence (as your post seems clearly to do), whereas if I posted a thread featuring pictures of any other minority group and somebody pulled the same shit, they'd be crucified (and in my opinion rightly so-- consider the analog: "Sure, he's black, but can he play-- and well?").

We all have our prejudices. Better to work on them by ourselves than to affirmatively post them on forums as if they were somehow acceptable. They are not. "An atheist guitarist! But can he play? And well?" "An Asian guitarist! But can he play? And well?" "A Muslim guitarist! But can he play? And well?" "A Latino guitarist! But can he play? And well?" Do you not see how foolish such bigoted gibberish sounds?
