LOVE the 5678s. I saw them live a coupel of years ago in the Ace Cafe here in London - www.acecafelondon.co.uk IIRC - perfect venue, and a fantastic live band. Like watching Iggy and Deedee reincarnated as Japanese schoolgirls , or something.... well worth it if you get the chance.

oops, I forgot that doesn't translate..... sounds like you've got it now, but basically think of a sort of low rent Victora's secret that also sells sex toys and hen night ("Bachelorette party"?) AFAIK they are.... I think they tour pretty constantly, might explain lack of attention to the website.....?

Oh ,and re Iggy and DeeDee.... you lucky bugger. I've seen Iggy a couple times, but never caught DeeDee - the Ramones' management pulled them out of playing in Belfast after 85 - worried their boys might get shot! - and I didn't make it to London in time to catch the Ramones' last gig, or DeeDee's solo shows, or Joey either. Shame, i wish i'd had the chance. I have seen Marky a couple times - spoken word and then the last time he also played a set with his support band - did a full set of ramones numbers, with him on drums. Fantastic stuff - in the Underworld in Camden Town, a tiny little place, probably capacity of about 400. I'd have ebayed a kidney for the chance to see the ramones together, though.

I'm probably taking major risks here, since the last time anything was posted on me, I was bashed to all hell about how I look like a dude and sound like shit. But oh well. Thought I'd try to get some pics of some female bassists up here starting with me. By the way, all the negative press about me on this forum board that took place about two months ago actually prompted me to make some changes on my website. I hated the clips that were up there but didn't have anything newer to reflect what I'm doing now. So after all the bashing, I got even more motivated to get new sound clips on the site. The new clips are mostly recordings from the jam that I do at The Airliner. Like it (or me) or not, I hopefully I don't get pummelled with insults again like last time.

Got 'em. When I actually reviewed them, quite a number were repeats. Another bunch were from pages with goofy-ass javascript "mouse rollover" systems, and I know of no way to extract the jpg file URLs for those (a comuter wiz I ain't-- when I was coming up, PC's/internet didn't really exist, so what little about that sorta thing I know is mainly from trial and error and self-taught). I've got a couple left to post though.
