Fixing to motivate over to our gig tonight and just getting this head right. This is #3 of 14 double back weekends this year, they get harder every time, I know I showing my age. The lead singer and I finally called off any more double backs for this year and with 61 dates on the books I think we were justified. I'm fighting to cut that to half next year, we'll see?

You're lucky your wife still goes to your shows. Mine went for the first 2 years but now I can't get her to come at all. and that's OK, she put in her time........

Yup, I hear ya!
I remember coming home from festival road trips, all excited that I got to meet this guy or jam with that guy, and I sold X number of CDs, or got interviewd by the paper, etc etc....and she'd say "That's great, honey. Can you unload the dishwasher?" or someting similar. I thank God for her, She helps keep me grounded and living in reality, not the fantasyland of the music biz. And after 25 years, she, too, has put in her time.

No rollers, that Music Man weighed 62 pounds back in 1980, now it weighs 162. Still we'd love to have you make the trip from Raleigh, 2 1/2 hrs, to see the band. Warning: This crowd might be a bad influence on you!!!

How did your amp gain 100 pounds?
I'd love to come out and hear your band play. Maybe this summer I'll make a long weekend trip out to the beach and come see you guys!! :)
