Less candy --> same price = more "fun"...

...for the candy companies. ;)

The illusion that your ass won't double in size from eating 50 of em (funsize bars are smaller than ass-b-grow quanta and they don't add)

I've often thought when confronted with "fun size" - Jayzus you wouldn't have much fun with that
It takes a whole bag of fun size sweeties to satisfy the sugar urge that could be satiated with just one normal size sweetie bar When you've eaten one tiny morsel the first thing you want is more "fun"
If they ever brought out "fun size" bottles of beer there would be murders
You never see "fun size" packets of condoms
Anyone ever played a "fun size" Strat or driven a "fun size" car?
Or gone into a seafood restaurant and ordered a "fun size" lobster?
I wouldn't like to take a ride in a "fun size" airplane neither

Mrs Blackpig and I are currently enjoying our post-prandial Irish coffees and I can assure you all that they are anything but "fun size" - but we're still having quite a lot of "fun"

:)

Hmmm. Well, if you look up the etymology, it seems apt:

fun (http://www.etymonline.com/)
1685, v., "to cheat, hoax," probably a variant of M.E. fon "befool" (c.1400), later "trick, hoax, practical joke," of uncertain origin. Stigmatized by Johnson as "a low cant word." Older sense is preserved in phrase to make fun of and funny money "counterfeit bills" (1938, though this may be more for the sake of the rhyme); sense of "amusement" is 1727. See also funny.
