My stupid "increase your posts" thread. I really didn't mind that it got deleted, but the accompanying (sp?) email kind of pissed me off. Delete it, don't talk to me like I'm some kind of prick.

It was from Scott Lehman. Is that his name? I think he's an administrator or something.

For all intents and purposes, he's the HC Forum God. He runs the place. Not an admin. The admin.

God he may be, but he still pissed me off. I don't think I did anything that deserved an irate email. Just tell me not to post a thread like that, and I won't do it again. I really didn't know it was a big deal. He just rubbed me the wrong way. But he probably doesn't care how he comes across.

I can understand your a little pissed off although I will say that I have exchanged quite a few mails with Scott over the past year and from personal experience, he comes across as a really nice and accomplished guy. You might have received a generic letter. I suspect he is a busy man... :)

I don't remember exactly, it was a few weeks ago and I've already deleted the email. But it was something to the effect of:
Do not post threads strictly to increase posts. If that's your intention DO NOT use our forum any longer.
He really wasn't unprofessional, he just rubbed me the wrong way. It's hard for me to explain. I wish I still had the email.
