I still haven't found an effecient way to do this -
I record our band's full rehearsals every week. We go through all of our original songs that we are working on, and sometimes we pull off a "keepable" version.
What I would like to do is pull these keepable versions on to their own project.
What's the best method?
Copy and paste?
Import?
I'm trying to keep the file path integrity as much intact as possible.
Thanks!!!!!

Yes, I have the same question. Where in the f are all the Cubase experts when you need one?
If you go to eBay and search out 'Cubase SX3 DVD tutorials', you will find a cat in England selling a set of three DVDs, seemingly in depth DVDs. ('jackie...' is his seller name.) I finally pulled the trigger on this, and spend $27 delivered. If this cat is a thief I will be the first to know, I guess. But I give up trying to find a wizard on the subject. I am of the opinion that Cubase SX3 expert folks are the silent type - or most operations are hands on and too complicated/lengthy to explain in words.
I have also seen a book at GC that looks very detailed, something a bit beyond the manual. I may end up with this, as well.
Oh well, my answer to you is to dig in. That's what I'm doing.

If it's the entire project, just use save as (and save it under a new name). If it's just a few tracks out of a project, you probably need to use cut/paste.

OK, received the 3 DVDs and I am back to tell anyone who's listening that these are a must have for the given software. They are very detailed and easy to follow. Without a doubt the best $27 I ever spent on my home studio!!!!!!!!!!!
Now if I can just take a block of time off from work...........
